A 49-year-old man handed himself over to police after allegedly killing a man in an argument over a beer.
|||A 49-year-old man handed himself over to police after allegedly killing a 19-year-old man in an argument over a beer, said KwaZulu-Natal police on Monday.
The man apparently stabbed Mthokozisi Mhlongo in the chest with a knife around 8.30pm on Sunday in KwaDabeka, Pinetown, outside Durban, said Captain Thulani Zwane.
Mhlongo died later on the scene.
Zwane said the man handed himself over to police later the same evening.
The man was expected to appear in the Pinetown Magistrate's Court on Tuesday or Wednesday. – Sapa
