|||Six siblings were killed by armed inruders with AK47 rifles while sleeping in their home in Muden near Greytown on Saturday morning, KwaZulu-Natal police said.
“The incident happened at around 3am. The men opened fire and killed six of them, including three teenagers,” said spokesman Colonel Vincent Mdunge.
Another three youngsters - a teenager and two children - survived the attack.
An adult, who was sleeping in the next rondavel, also escaped unharmed.
“The motive for the attack is unknown. The provincial commissioner has assembled a team to hunt down the five suspects,” said Mdunge. -Sapa
