|||Two people have appeared in the Wentworth Magistrate's Court in Durban for allegedly dealing in drugs, KwaZulu Natal police said on Thursday.
The trial of Pauline Judy Ann Chetty, 45, and Emmanuel Greaves, 50, both from Wentworth, was postponed on Wednesday to January 27, 2012, Colonel Jay Naicker said.
Chetty and Greaves were released on R5000 and R3000 bail respectively.
The two were arrested on Tuesday, December 06, 2011 after police received a tip-off.
Police found 435 ecstasy tablets, 311 ecstasy capsules, 85 pieces of rock cocaine and five blocks of rock cocaine in Chetty's flat.
She was arrested and charged with possession and dealing in drugs.
Greaves was charged with two counts of drug dealing after 29 ecstacy tablets were seized while he was busy selling it.
“The confiscated drugs have an estimated street value exceeding R50,000,” Naicker said. - Sapa
